ASU Polytechnic Interdisciplinary Science and Technology Building III
2005, Mesa, AZ

ISTB III is a new, state-of-the-art 40,000 SF research laboratory on Arizona State University’s Polytechnic Campus. Four research departments have been identified to occupy the building which contains wet and dry labs and a clean room for ASU’s Biodesign Institute. In order to promote cross disciplinary interaction between researchers, laboratories are organized around interior gardens, providing gathering places and foreground views. ISTB III was the first building on campus to achieve LEED Gold Certification.
