Homolovi Ruins State Park Visitor’s Center
1988, Winslow, AZ
Arizona’s first archaeological park encompasses over 8,500 acres. The Visitor Center provides a focus for orientation, interpretation, conservation, education, and professional training. Informational exhibits provide the patrons with their first impression of the park and the ancient Hopi Indian culture. This was Jones Studio’s first public building and was built with native sandstone and rusted metal… materials meant to express the passage of time.
